Notes About Your Move

  By completing this application, the Applicant hereby applies for membership with the Southeastern Electric Cooperative, Inc. (Cooperative) and acknowledges receipt of a copy of the Bylaws of the Cooperative. 

The Applicant agrees to comply with and be bound by the Cooperative?s Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws, policies, consumer classifications, rates, charges, service rules and regulations, both as the same now exist or may hereafter be adopted, rescinded, or supplemented. 

The Applicant recognizes the right of the Cooperative to measure, collect and transmit usage information for Cooperative purposes. 
Each member shall upon request of the Cooperative execute and deliver to the Cooperative grants of easement or the right of way, over, on or under such property owned or leased by the member in accordance with such property owned or leased by the member in accordance with such reasonable terms and conditions as the Cooperative shall require for the furnishing of electricity to the members or other members or the construction, operation, maintenance or relocation of the Cooperative electric facilities. 

The acceptance of this application by the Cooperative shall constitute an agreement between the Applicant and the Cooperative and shall continue in force until cancelled by either party. 
Cooperative membership includes a subscription to Southeastern Electric Cooperative connections, the Cooperative monthly newsletter. 

The Cooperative shall make all reasonable efforts to furnish its patrons with adequate and dependable electric service, although it cannot and therefore does not guarantee a continuous and uninterrupted supply. 

Joint membership shall be deemed to be joint tenants with full rights of survivorship authorized by the laws of this state, except as restricted in the Bylaws. The Applicant agrees to keep the Cooperative informed of their mailing address until all accrued patronage due them has been repaid. 

By signing, you concur that you have read and understand the statements on this application and you hereby give consent to the Cooperative to contact you by telephone (home or cell) with notifications such as delinquent accounts, planned outages, etc.
